In an effort to keep our students and guests as safe as we can, we have been advised to suspend all Graduates’ Restaurant bookings for the months of April, May and June (School Term two).

In an effort to minimise disappointment, we will be offering an opportunity to re-book for dates in term three and four.

Graduates Restaurant, located at St John’s Regional College Dandenong is now taking bookings for 2020.

Our Restaurant is operated entirely by our year 11 and 12 Hospitality students from St John’s Regional College and other local secondary colleges under guidance of our fully qualified Hospitality team, Chef Kees, Chef Karla and our Restaurant Manager Ms Sally Taylor.

Hospitality students participate in:

  • Front of House Management (waiter/waitress)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (VCGLR accredited training)
  • Barista skills
  • Processing of Financial Transactions
  • Customer Service

Kitchen Operations students undertake:

  • Stocks, sauces and soups
  • Appetisers and Salads
  • Vegetables, Fruit and Farinaceous dishes
  • Poultry dishes
  • Cookery skills
  • Cleaning and Hygiene

 

Graduates' Restaurant

All classes whether theory or during restaurant service are conducted under the full support and guidance of our qualified Chefs and Restaurant Manager.

Graduates has the capacity to seat 65 guests and is a popular meeting place for community groups such as local Rotary clubs, school groups and church groups. If it’s a family gathering, small intimate dinner for 2 or our Christmas in June you are sure to have a welcome smile and leave with a full stomach at Graduates Restaurant.

Five Loaves Bakery & Patisserie

 

At 5 Loaves Bakery and Patisserie you will always smell the amazing aroma of freshly cooked breads and other tasty treats.

Students enrolled in VET in school Certificate III in Patisserie program provide all bakery products to Graduates Restaurant as well as bake some amazing products that look and taste fantastic.
