At St. John’s, the atmosphere is a very inviting place, although every school should be inviting, St. John’s is on another level. All the teachers’ pay attention to their student’s wellbeing; I remember my second day of yr7 where I was suffering from my anxiety to the point that I went home from throwing up, the same day once I was home, Ms. Webb called my mum to ask if I was ok. The in my Yr9 Religion class with Mrs. Kydas, one of my friends was quieter one day and she waited until the end of the class when everyone had left to ask if she’s ok. These teachers, among many, are what make the environment at St. John’s so incredibly inviting, they notice the small things and check in on their students which, in my opinion, like I mentioned, is what makes St. Johns’ atmosphere so vibrant, so inviting, and what differentiates this school from any other school.
