In order for us to grow and develop your feedback is vital.

Throughout each year, we pause to listen to our students, families and staff to gauge how our learning community is travelling. This feedback is invaluable to our progress as an effective school community and is backed by evidence-based research and best practices. One of the more important formal ways we engage and gather data is through CEMSIS, the Catholic Education Melbourne School Improvement Surveys.

CEMSIS is a set of surveys that have been built specifically for Catholic Schools in Melbourne by Learning Services teams at Catholic Education Melbourne in partnership with researchers at Learning First .

Each year, students, families and staff are invited to participate in CEMSIS using our secure and purpose-built online platform. Our community’s opinions are critical to understanding how our school is performing and CEMSIS is a key data source for guiding the ongoing work to improve our school. All participation is invited, welcomed and 100% voluntary. We use this information to adjust and improve current and future actions and behaviours, continually looking to improve our school community.

St John’s Regional College also encourages our wider community to provide ‘words of support and encouragement’ where our students and staff in following our school motto “Virtus In Astra Tendit –  the Courage to Reach for the Stars ” have achieved excellence .

If you wish to provide our school with some words of support or constructive feedback we welcome your email to:

We thank those in our community whose kind words of support and encouragement are detailed below.
