Student Wellbeing

The wellbeing of our students is at the heart of everything we do at St John’s Regional College.

Providing a safe, positive environment where all students are cared for in not only their educational needs but also spiritual, social and emotional encompasses the values of the College.

The Pastoral Care Program at St John’s provides students with sincere and integrated Pastoral Care. It is a partnership between the students, teachers and parents to support their wellbeing as they progress through their formative teenage years and strive to become confident and happy young people of integrity.

Our Pastoral Care program underpins our educational programs and offers students opportunities to:

Understand and explore their faith

Build and maintain healthy relationships with other students so that they feel a sense of pride, purpose and belonging

Monitor and develop social and emotional wellbeing

Develop a comprehensive and extended support network

Focus on current adolescent issues, social justice and community initiatives

Reinforce positive behaviour and develop confidence, resilience and self-esteem
